Queensland Strawberries

Gowinta Farms is a large strawberry farm located at Beerwah, juts 4.5km from Australia Zoo. You can pick your own strawberries, take a farm tour and dine in their cafe which offers hot meals, devonshire teas and strawberry and pineapple ice-cream. Gowinta Farms offers a free Jumping Castle on weekends and everyday across the school holidays (weather permitting). Bus groups, school tours and other group bookings are welcomed.

Strawberry Fields now have two Queensland farms serving the public with fresh strawberries all year.  Our Sunshine Coast farm is located off the Bruce Highway, Palmview, across from the Ettamogah Pub. It has been successfully run by the Carmichael family since 1980. Our Granite Belt farm is located off the New England Highway, Stanthorpe.  We have Pick Your Own Strawberries available during the season and fresh packaged strawberries available in our shop.  Yummy food & drinks!  Cater for bus tour groups and school tours.  We have a playground for the children and catered birthday parties are also available.

We are the closest to Brisbane next to the Bruce Highway just north of Caboolture near the Big Fish / Humble Pie exit. Pick your own seasonal strawberries and buy fresh locally made strawberry jam and strawberry ice cream.

The farm is located near Harvey Bay. From the Hervey Bay – Maryborough road turn into Chapel Road near the Nikenbah Markets and follow the signs. It has been successfully run by the Boswell Family since 1991.
