Strawberry Jam

Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
  • 500g strawberries
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cups sugar

Microwave Method

Cut strawberries in half, removing leafy ends and place into a microwave safe bowl, covering with cling wrap. Pierce and cook on high for 4 mins. Mash strawberries into a pulp. Add lemon juice, sugar and stir well. Cook on high (uncovered) for 20 mins, stirring now and again. If the mixture looks like boiling over, reduce to a medium heat. Let stand for 5 mins. Stir and pour into hot, sterilized jars. When cool, seal and label.
